Mikido is a child's size version of the ancient Maori Poi; The Maori used Poi seriously, as a tool to develop coordination and strength through rhythmically coordinated movement.
Mikido Poi are child-sized, brightly coloured...and gorgeous.
Beautiful tails stream as your arms move in patterns. And as Mikido are small, light, easy to carry anywhere, and won't break (or break anything if thrown), they're a very handy and fun way for kids to devleop coordination, indoors or out.
Mikido are also ideal for music classes (Kodaly, Dalcroze), and for gym and dance classes.
Mikido are excellent for teaching the 'swish' of tennis groundstrokes and serve, incidentally.
